Plumbing software

Priced at the door, invoiced before you leave the drive

The callout comes in on your own business number instead of your cell. You price it standing in the kitchen, they approve it on their phone, and the invoice goes out with the tap still fresh in your ears.

Two in the morning

An emergency does not wait for your paperwork to catch up

The work is fast. Everything around it is slow, and that is the part that costs you.

  • Your personal cell, ringing through dinner and on a Sunday
  • A price agreed out loud, written on nothing
  • Parts and hours totted up on a pad in the van
  • An invoice written the following weekend, paid the weekend after
  • A business number that rings instead of yours
  • A quote built and approved before you open the toolbag
  • Parts and labour on the quote, carried onto the invoice
  • Paid by card or QR before you have coiled the hose
The basics

What actually slows a callout down

The forty minutes under the sink is not the problem. The problem is the hour it takes afterwards, spread across a week: writing the price down properly, remembering what the part cost, raising the invoice, then noticing three weeks later that it was never paid.

Plumbing software is what closes that gap. It carries the callout from the first ring to the money landing, on the phone that is already in your pocket.

StrikeHoney installs from the browser, so there is no App Store, no download and nothing to wait for. You can be quoting on it before the kettle boils.

  • 01A quote you can build and get approved on site
  • 02Your own business number for calls and texts
  • 03Parts and labour that carry through to the invoice
  • 04Card, QR, cash or e-transfer against one invoice
  • 05Every past job on the customer, searchable
What you get

Built for the callout

  1. 01

Price it standing in the kitchen

Pull the lines off your own service list, add the part, and show them a number before you open the toolbag. They approve it on their phone, or sign it on yours. A price agreed out loud at 9 PM is a price you argue about at the end of the month.

  2. 02

One number for the emergencies, and it is not yours

A business number comes with the account, so the after-hours calls stop landing on your personal cell. Miss one because you are under a sink and it still shows up as a lead with the number attached, on the customer it belongs to.

  3. 03

Take the money before you pack up

The invoice carries a card link and a QR code they can scan off your phone, and cash or an e-transfer gets recorded against it. The job that took forty minutes should not wait nine days to be paid because you invoice on Sundays.

  4. 04

Last winter's repair, one search away

The same house calls again in eighteen months. The old quote, the photos of what you found behind the panel, and what you charged are all on that customer. A text thread from two Februaries ago is not a history you can search.

Why plumbers in particular

Service work is a different animal to a build

A three-week bathroom install and a burst pipe on a Tuesday night need opposite things from an app. Most of them are built for the bathroom.

The call comes first

Work starts with a phone ringing, not a project brief. A missed call still becomes a lead with the number on it.

The price is decided on site

You cannot quote a blocked stack from a desk. Build it from your own service list while you are looking at the thing.

The money should not lag the job

A card link and a QR code on the invoice means a forty minute job can be a forty minute job, paid.

Who it is for

Is this your week?

One van, maybe two. No dispatcher, and no answering service on a monthly retainer taking messages you still have to return.

  • You take emergency callouts, and they do not respect a calendar.
  • You are working in Canada and you want the tax handled the way the CRA wants it.
  • You price at the door, not from an office three days later.
  • You want your own mobile to stop being the emergency line.
Tax

Parts and labour, taxed right, every time

A plumbing invoice usually has a part on it and your hours next to it, and the tax has to land correctly on both. Do it by hand at the door and you will eventually do it wrong in front of a customer.

StrikeHoney reads the rate from your province and applies it, then keeps the tax report for when you need it. Nova Scotia's HST changed on 1 April 2025 and the rate table moved with it, which is the point of not typing it in yourself.

A separate provincial tax is opt in, because whether it lands on labour or only on materials depends on the trade. Rates checked against the Canada Revenue Agency in August 2026.

FAQ

Before you ask

Plumbing software is how a plumber takes a callout, prices it on site, tracks what was done, and gets paid for it from one app. It replaces the notepad on the passenger seat and the evening spent writing up invoices.

Yes. Build the quote from your own saved services and parts while you are standing there, then have it approved on their phone or signed on yours before you start. No printing, no going back to the van for a pad.

Yes. Every account gets its own business number for calls and texts, so your personal number stays private. Calls and messages on it are tied to the customer and the job they are about.

Yes. Send the invoice and they can pay by card on a hosted page, or scan the QR code on it from your screen. Cash, cheque and e-transfer get recorded against the same invoice so the balance stays right.

Yes. Quotes, jobs, photos and invoices all sit on the customer, so the callback in eighteen months starts with what you found and charged last time rather than with you trying to remember.

Both. It is built for one person first. Bring someone on and they get a stripped-down view of the jobs they are on, with the money hidden.

$24/mo CAD, everything included. Pay six months ahead and it works out to $21/mo CAD; pay for the year up front and it is $19/mo CAD. Same product, less money. One plan, no tiers, no add-ons.
